A Tribute To Strong Women
The following is a list useful links that I have compiled. If you wish to be added to this list, please send me an e-mail.
- Terri Clark
- The online home of premier Canadian musician Terri Lynne Clark, Mercury Records recording artist who shows lots of muscle and good looks--someone I would be honored to marry!
- Batgirl
- TV's original "Batgirl" has her very own Bat-channel, complete with photos, memoirs and even an opportunity to order her book online.
- Electra Woman & Dyna Girl
- The greatest website devoted to a short-lived TV series, "Electra Woman & Dyna Girl", which lasted a mere eight episodes on ABC-TV in Fall 1976 and starred Deidre Hall and Judy Strangis.
- Rob Olivera's Wonder Woman Page
- The most comprehensive photo galleries devoted to Lynda Carter, who portrayed TV's Wonder Woman from 1975-77 (ABC) and 1977-79 (CBS). She was knockout city in that halter top and those double-knit shorts!
- Susan Saint James
- The only pages on the Web devoted to actress Susan Saint James, who portrayed Kate McArdle, the headstrong tomboy from "Kate & Allie".
- Jane Jetson's Photo Gallery
- Animated cels devoted to Jane Jetson, the housewife of George from TV's "The Jetsons" who became a liberated woman when Hanna-Barbera produced new syndicated episodes during the 1980s. Jane's trademark orange bullhorn hairdo is a reminder of how women have gotten stronger in today's society while men have become virtually inept.
- Leah Remini
- This star of "The King of Queens", who was Ms. Toolbelt in the Quaker State TV commercials, has her very own website, complete with photos and ad downloads.
- Chyna Headquarters
- One of many websites devoted to Joanie "Chyna" Laurer, the WWF musclewoman who shows that you can have both strength and good looks.
- Justine Bateman's Photo Galleries
- This former "Family Ties" star, a born-again Christian, has some great-looking pictures.
- The Simpsons Episodic Guide
- Every episode of my favorite TV program, "The Simpsons", is summarized, along with episodes awaiting production for the next season.
- MapQuest
- Get where you need to be--with the help of MapQuest, which developed the first Internet-powered road atlas!
- Game Show Convention Center
- Steve Beverly, who is a professor of communications at Union University in Jackson, TN (90 ENE of Memphis), has developed the most comprehensive website devoted to game shows. A must-see for any game show junkie!
- America's Tricentennial
- This website, commemorating America's 300th birthday in 2076, explains how I got the name for my motion picture company.
Have Fun!
